  • Prepares and reviews monthly account analysis and reconciliation
  • Establishes, interprets and analyzes complex accounting recordsof financial statements
  • Creates journal entries and adjustments
  • Assists with preparation of financial statements
  • Prepares analytical review of financial statements duringclosing process
  • Handles field questions concerning financial results
  • Performs monthly financial close and financial statementpreparation
  • Reconciles balance sheet accounts
  • Assists and provides support with annual external audit and budget processes
  • Ensures integrity of financial statements. Ensures financial statement compliance with GAAP, companypolicies and governmental requirements


  • Exposure to accounting systemsKnowledge of GAAP and SSAPMS office applications, especially ExcelExcellent evaluation skillsTroubleshooting abilitiesStrong organizational skillsStrong interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor s degree in accounting preferredThree to five years of financial accounting experience
  • CPA designation preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
