Java Developer - Lowell, MA / Branchburg, New Jersey


Kronos is looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer with application development experience to join our team in our Lowell, MA / Branchburg NJ or Houston TX offices who needs to be able to deliver on the technical vision of the company and will work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects and engineers to plan, design, develop, test and implement information technology solutions consistent with the business objective.
Develop & enhance effective programs & data structures that successfully meet the objective.
Participate effectively in relevant aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC) including planning, construction, testing, reviews and demonstrations.
Collaborate with team to design, develop, test and refine deliverables.
Investigate and resolve simple to complex application issues as needed package, configure and deploy software
Review and create system, software and functional design specifications that address requirements.
Collaborate with clients, Product Managers, Architects, & Analysts to develop and review requirements & design.
Participate in project planning and release management.
Expected to manage broader or multiple projects at a time.
Able to independently perform day to day activities with little instruction, using proper judgment to determine when to involve stakeholders with decisions regarding the overall function or direction of a given feature or application scenario.


The required skills are -
Knowledge of full stack java based web development: SQL, Java, J2EE, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JPA or Hibernate, Spring/ EJB, XML, AJAX, application servers and web servers.
Strong SQL skills including Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers (SQL server preferred)
Programming concepts, design patterns, OOP, TDD, AOP, IOC/DI
Familiar with Agile development methodologies
Version control systems and methodologies (GIT preferred)
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
3+ years direct industry experience in Application Development

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
