Learning & Development Administrator Temporary Position

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the logistics of all of the various leadership and development programs for both our Branchville and regional locations. This may include course calendars, course descriptions, registration, room set-ups & AV requirements, program materials, catering, reminders, course surveys, effectiveness / satisfaction metrics and feedback. Acts as a liaison with employees, internal presenters and outside vendors. May assist with researching programs, courses, facilitators, and vendors.
  • Monitors departmental budget and actual expenses to ensure alignment. Processes invoices and completes thorough reconciliation of all charges on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Provides support for various Talent Management processes including talent review, succession planning and development planning process which also includes aggregated data for enterprise level review.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) administrator for various technology platforms used by the department and provide assistance to employees. Some current examples include DiSC , Success Factors (ePerformance, Talent modules), our on-line learning system, Sharepoint and HRIS.
  • Responsible for additional general administrative support for the team as needed. Some examples may include coordinating calendars, travel, and speaking arrangements; maintaining leadership library; maintaining files and folders, etc.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years administrative experience in a corporate environment supporting an HR team.
  • 4-year degree desired, but not required.
  • Must be team-focused, detail-oriented, resourceful and proactive; Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize, handle several projects simultaneously and work well with minimal supervision is essential, as is the demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner.
  • Able to show initiative, work independently and as part of a team a must!
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to muti-task are essential!

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
