Selective is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst who will effectively formulate and define business requirements, system scope and objectives on the largest and/or most complex initiatives/enhancements, through research and fact-finding while displaying a basic understanding of business systems and industry standards. Includes in-depth analysis of business and user needs, documenting business requirements, and revising existing system logic as necessary with very limited direction. Provide mentorship to more junior Business Analysts and Associate Business Analysts.
Responsibilities:
Identifying all necessary stakeholders for various projects and lead/facilitate business requirements gathering sessions with business groups. Deliver various presentations as well. Use knowledge of application landscape, business context and work with Business Architects and IT Supply partners to develop better solutions. Develop requirements plan, requirements estimates, and obtain necessary sign-off on these documents. Incorporate effective elicitation practices to ensure effective collection of all information needed for building Business Requirements and System documentation. Document and manage requirements documents (Business Requirements Document, System Requirements Document, Use Case Document), for different types of work (initiatives, enhancements, regulatory, support, break-fix, etc) ensuring quality and completeness of all deliverables and obtaining necessary sign-offs. Document requirements for statutory reporting and/or knowledge management. Schedule and participate in peer review process. Design screen / UI mockups for requirements documents to assist development teams in building screens Troubleshoot and coordinate resolutions of requirement issues until requirements are turned over to IT supply. Capture and monitor requirement metrics and report to management. Conduct requirements walkthrough with development and testing teams. Ensure clarification and understanding on all requirements and obtain sign-off.
Qualifications:
Superior organizational, time management and prioritization skills. Proficient in both Excel and Access. In depth knowledge of software development lifecycle Ability to build collaborative relationships Superior interpersonal communication, presentation and facilitation skills Experience in writing quality requirements documents for complex business systems projects Demonstrated formal business analysis skills The ability to analyze problems, probe facts, analyze issues and present alternative solutions. Highly motivated self-starter with an ability to effectively manage a range of tasks and projects in an environment with changing priorities. Exhibit flexibility working in a fast-paced environment requiring quick response. 5
years of experience in a business analysis role or 3
years insurance line of business expertise and 2
years of business analysis experience College degree or equivalent work experience. Training or certifications in business analysis and project management preferred. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Business Intelligence & AnalyticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
